背面描述 Five-line inscription in bold upright roman lettering filling the central field, reading '* VI * / EINEN / REICHS / THALER / •17•58•', denoting the coin's value as one-sixth of a Reichsthaler with the date divided across the final line. A small rosette ornament appears to the left of 'VI' at the top. The legends are set against a plain field and enclosed within a milled border consistent with the obverse, presenting a clean and legible typographic design typical of German states coinage of the period.

附加信息

Adalbert II von Walderdorff served as Prince-Bishop of Fulda from 1757 until his death in 1759 — a reign of barely two years, which accounts entirely for the scarcity of coinage bearing his name. Fulda's mint was never prolific, and the truncated episcopate left little opportunity for large-scale production across any denomination.

The abbey at Fulda had held imperial immediacy since the Carolingian period, giving its bishops the right to strike coin as secular princes of the Empire. By the mid-eighteenth century that privilege was largely ceremonial in economic terms, the issues serving administrative and prestige functions more than genuine monetary circulation.
