Reverse description An ornamented baroque shield occupies the center of the field, enclosing the denomination and date inscription identifying the coin as a one-third Reichsthaler dated 1676. The initials A.H. below the main inscription denote the responsible mint official. The surrounding legend NOBISCUM CHRISTE MANETO is a devotional phrase invoking Christ, characteristic of German Protestant civic coinage of the period. The overall composition reflects the ornamental engraving style prevalent in late 17th-century North German minting.
