Reverse description Uneven quadripartite incuse square of roughly geometric form, produced by the punch technique characteristic of early Greek silver coinage. The incuse cavity is irregularly divided into four sunken compartments of unequal size, with no figural type, inscription, or subsidiary device. The surface within the incuse shows the typical granular texture resulting from hammered striking on a hand-cut flan.
