Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine Macedonian style with carefully delineated wavy hair bound by a laurel wreath. The portrait is executed in low relief characteristic of Agrianean coinage of this period, with naturalistic facial features and a smooth neck truncation. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with the effigy occupying the majority of the obverse field.
