Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing right, rendered in fine archaic-to-classical Greek style. The goddess wears a crested Attic helmet adorned with a laurel wreath, the crest rising prominently above the bowl and flowing back in relief. Visible beneath the helmet's cheekpiece is a decorative serpent, a common Athenian iconographic element. The portrait is rendered with careful attention to facial detail, displaying a well-modelled jaw and a slightly parted lip, consistent with mid-4th century Mysian die-cutting tradition.
