Obverse description Laureate head of Zeus facing left, rendered in fine archaic-influenced style with hair partially rolled at the nape and loose locks descending on either side of the neck truncation. The portrait exhibits careful engraving of the laurel wreath, with facial features characteristic of Pontic mint work of the mid-4th century BC. The flan presents the typical irregular fabric of the region.
