Reverse description The Great God of Odessos (Theos Megas) standing facing left, his right hand extended over a small flaming altar to his left from which he pours a libation with a patera, while his left hand holds a cornucopia. The deity is depicted in frontal stance with drapery, in a style typical of provincial Moesian civic coinage of the Severan and Gordian periods. The ethnic legend OΔHCCEITΩN arcs around the reverse field identifying the issuing city of Odessos.
