| Reverse description | A tripod occupies the central field, rendered in the conventional Sicilian Greek style with three legs and a cauldron top. Three pellets are disposed in the left field, serving as the denomination mark for the tetras (one-third litra). The ethnic legend is divided across the field in two lines flanking the tripod. The flan edges are irregular, characteristic of hammered bronze issues from this Sicel community. |
