Beschrijving voorzijde	Rooster standing to right in the field, rendered in bold relief with detailed plumage articulated on the wing and tail feathers; the comb and wattles are prominently modelled. The ethnic abbreviation ZIZ appears to the right of the figure in archaic Greek characters, identifying the Punic mint of Panormos (Ziz). The flan is irregular and the die style is characteristic of early Sicilian bronze coinage.

Beschrijving keerzijde	Three raised pellets arranged in a triangular pattern across an otherwise plain field, serving as the value mark denoting the tetras, equivalent to one-third of a litra or three onkiai. The pellets are boldly struck and evenly spaced, conforming to the standard Sicilian bronze denomination system. The flan edges are irregular, consistent with hammered production of this period.
