| Obverse description | Bee depicted in high relief, seen from above, with detailed segmented abdomen, outstretched wings, and prominent head with antennae, centrally positioned within a dotted border. To the right of the bee appears the magistrate's abbreviation E-Φ (epsilon-phi) flanked by pellets, referencing the city ethnic of Ephesos.
