| Beschrijving voorzijde | Diademed, bearded royal bust facing right, with elaborately plaited hair and wearing a distinctive cap-like headdress surmounted by a seated falcon in profile. The portrait is rendered in the Hellenistic tradition adapted to local Chorasmian artistic conventions, with pronounced facial features. The entire design is contained within a bead-and-reel border, characteristic of the dynastic coinage of ancient Khwarezm. |

Behind the mounted figure appears the royal dynastic tamgha rendered in a swan-shaped form. Above the equestrian scene, a retrograde pseudo-Greek or local Chorasmian legend reading V(retrograde)VΩ=VΛV is inscribed in the upper field, while the Khwarezmian-script inscription wzm`r mlk` (King Wazamar) appears in the lower field, identifying the ruler by name and title. |
