Obverse description Diademed bust of Vonones I facing left, depicted with a distinctive tiara adorned with a stepped or crenellated crown, long curled beard, and draped shoulders. The king's facial features are rendered in the late Parthian Hellenistic style, with a prominent eye, aquiline nose, and flowing hair visible beneath the headdress. A Greek legend surrounds the effigy within a beaded border. The overall portrait reflects the characteristically eclectic Greco-Iranian artistic tradition of the Arsacid dynasty.
