Obverse description Diademed bust of Vologases V facing left, rendered in the characteristic late Parthian style with hair gathered in a bundle above the diadem and swept behind the ear. The portrait exhibits the stylized, somewhat schematic artistic treatment typical of Parthian silver coinage of this period. The king's drapery is visible at the shoulder, and the facial features display the frontal-leaning aesthetic conventions of Arsacid royal portraiture.
