Obverse description The effigy of the king, identified as Vasudeva II, is depicted standing facing, wearing an elaborate crown and diadem, with a nimbus encircling the head. The ruler is shown in full regalia, holding a trident in the right hand and extending the left hand toward a flaming altar at the left, in a sacrificial gesture. A second trident is positioned above the altar, a distinctive iconographic element characteristic of late Kushan royal coinage. The figure is rendered in the bold, stylised manner typical of Kushan artistic convention, with garments and ornaments indicated by incised detail.

Reverse description The deity Shiva is depicted standing facing, rendered with two arms, holding a trident in one hand and a diadem or fillet in the other, consistent with standard Kushan divine iconography. The sacred bull Nandi stands to the left behind the deity, serving as Shiva's traditional vahana and a recurring reverse type on Kushan copper coinage. The composition is bold and hieratic in style, with the figures occupying the full field of the flan. The reverse design reflects the strong Shaivite religious orientation of the late Kushan court under Vasudeva II.
