The voluminous laureate wreath is depicted with exaggerated, spatulate leaf forms radiating dramatically across the upper field. The heavy beard is rendered in stylised, flowing locks, and the large almond-shaped eye is prominently emphasised in characteristic Celtic fashion. A dotted border frames the entire design. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Stylised Celtic rider wearing a crested helmet mounted on horseback, advancing to the right, rendered in the abstract La Tène manner with reduced anatomical naturalism. A trident symbol appears in the field behind the rider, while vestigial degenerate legend fragments are placed above and before the figure, derived from but no longer legible as the original Greek inscription. A triskeles device appears beneath the horse's foreleg, and a fetter symbol occupies the lower field. The overall composition reflects progressive Celtic abstraction of the Macedonian Philip II reverse type. |
