Obverse description Facing right, the head of Aphrodite is rendered in fine Hellenistic style, with hair drawn back and secured at the nape. The goddess is adorned with a single-pendant drop earring and a beaded necklace, reflecting the refined artistic conventions of the Knidian mint. The portrait occupies the obverse field without an encircling legend, placing full emphasis on the divine effigy. The modeling of the facial features exhibits careful attention to naturalistic detail characteristic of late Classical Greek coinage.
