Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Tacitus facing right, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style typical of late 3rd-century potin tetradrachms. The portrait displays the characteristic imperial effigy with laurel wreath and drapery over the left shoulder. The surrounding field carries the imperial titulature legend. The flan is irregular and the strike somewhat weak, consistent with the debased potin coinage of the period.
