Obverse description Diademed and crowned bust of the ruler facing right, the elaborate crown surmounted by a crescent ornament decorated with three pellets arranged within its arc. The effigy is rendered in a schematized, degenerate Hellenistic style characteristic of late Chorasmian coinage, with facial features and drapery indicated by boldly struck, stylized lines. A circular border or rim frames the design field.
