| Beschrijving keerzijde | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left, nude to the waist with a himation draped over his lower body and legs, his right hand extended and resting on a long scepter, his left arm cradling an eagle with spread wings perched on his outstretched right hand. In the left field, a dolphin swimming left is positioned above a TA monogram (control mark). The Greek legend AΛEΞANΔPOY runs along the right field, identifying the coin as struck in the name of Alexander. The design is enclosed within a plain beaded border, consistent with Seleucid posthumous Alexander-type tetradrachms produced at Laodicea ad Mare. |
