| Descrizione del dritto | Helmeted bust of a heroic figure facing right, the helmet covered with a panther skin adorned with a bull's horn and ear — a composite iconographic type assimilating Seleukos I Nikator with Alexander the Great and Dionysus. A panther skin is knotted around the shoulders of the figure. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. The imagery deliberately conflates royal, divine, and heroic attributes to project the legitimacy and grandeur of the nascent Seleucid dynasty. |

The composition is characteristic of the victorious dynastic imagery employed by the early Seleucid coinage at Susa. |
