| Descripción del reverso | Nike, depicted as a winged female figure standing to the left, crowns a standing male figure — conventionally identified as the king or a trophy — clad in full military attire including a cuirass and shield resting at his side. Between the two figures, a monogram appears in the lower field serving as a mint or magistrate mark. The legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ is inscribed in Greek characters distributed vertically on either side of the central group, reading 'of King Seleukos.' The composition is enclosed within a beaded border and the scene is rendered in the vigorous Hellenistic style characteristic of the Susa mint coinage. |
