| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Seleukos I Nikator in right profile, wearing a distinctive horned and winged helmet adorned with a bull's horn and ear, a celebrated dynastic iconographic device associated with divine and military power. The portrait is rendered with fine detail, displaying the king's strong facial features framed by curling hair visible beneath the helmet. The flan is bordered by a beaded inner circle. The style reflects early Hellenistic portraiture of the Seleucid court. |

| Reverse description | Nike, depicted as a winged female figure standing to the left, crowns a standing male figure — conventionally identified as the king or a trophy — clad in full military attire including a cuirass and shield resting at his side. Between the two figures, a monogram appears in the lower field serving as a mint or magistrate mark. The legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ is inscribed in Greek characters distributed vertically on either side of the central group, reading 'of King Seleukos.'
