Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned in left profile upon a high-backed throne, his body draped, extending his right hand to receive a wreath from Nike, who stands upon his outstretched palm facing left. In his left hand he holds a long sceptre. Below the throne, a monogram is enclosed within a circle, serving as a mint or magistrate control mark. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ to the right and ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ to the left frames the composition, identifying the issuing authority as King Seleukos.
