| Obverse description | Youthful head of Herakles in right profile, wearing the scalp of the Nemean lion as a headdress, with the beast's mane rendered in flowing, deeply engraved locks framing the face. The facial features are finely modelled in the Hellenistic tradition, displaying a strong brow, prominent nose, and parted lips. The lion skin is tied beneath the chin, with the forelegs visible at the neck. The design is set within a plain field with a dotted border visible at the coin's periphery. No legend appears on the obverse. |

| Reverse description | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned in left profile upon a high-backed throne, his body draped, extending his right hand to receive a wreath from Nike, who stands upon his outstretched palm facing left. In his left hand he holds a long sceptre. Below the throne, a monogram is enclosed within a circle, serving as a mint or magistrate control mark. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ to the right and ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ to the left frames the composition, identifying the issuing authority as King Seleukos. |
