| Reverse description | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a low, cushioned throne, his body draped from the waist, holding a long scepter upright in his left hand and extending his right hand to support an eagle standing right with wings closed. In the left field, a dolphin swimming left is positioned above a monogram enclosed in a circle; beneath the throne, a monogram comprising the letters TP within a circle serves as a secondary control mark. The inscription, divided on either side of the seated figure, reads ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ to the right and ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ to the left, identifying the issuing authority. The design is enclosed within a continuous border of dots. |
