| Beschrijving keerzijde | Zeus is depicted standing facing, his right arm extended and holding a winged Nike figure, while his left arm rests at his side. The deity is rendered in the Hellenistic tradition common to Indo-Parthian coinage of the Taxila region. The surrounding Kharosthi legend names the king with his full royal titulature, identifying him as Gudaphara, King of Kings. A secondary Kharosthi inscription reading SASASA appears across the lower field. The overall composition follows the reverse type established by earlier Indo-Greek and Indo-Scythian coinage of the region. |
