Obverse description Veiled and diademed bust of Arsinoe II Philadelphos facing right, her hair arranged in a melon coiffure with a stephane visible beneath a fine veil that falls in elegant vertical folds over the shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the refined Hellenistic court style, with idealized facial features characteristic of Ptolemaic royal portraiture. The Greek control letter Κ appears in the left field. The coin's periphery is bordered by a beaded circle.
