Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Ptolemy V facing right, portrayed with youthful features and elaborately rendered hair secured by a royal diadem with flowing ribbon ends visible behind the neck. The effigy displays fine Hellenistic workmanship, with the king shown in profile wearing a light chlamys draped over the shoulder. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded (dotted) border.

Reverse description An eagle with closed wings stands in left profile atop a thunderbolt, a canonical symbol of Ptolemaic royal authority. The mintmark ΣΙ (denoting the Sidon mint) appears between the eagle's legs. The dynastic legend ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ flanks the central device, distributed in the left and right fields. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded (dotted) border.
