| Description de l’avers | Diademed head of Ptolemy I facing right, portrayed in the idealized Hellenistic style with flowing, deeply engraved curls framing the face. A royal diadem is tied around the head with the ends visible behind the neck. The aegis is draped across the shoulder, its scaled surface and leonine head rendered in fine detail. The portrait exhibits strong, classical features characteristic of the Ptolemaic dynastic coinage tradition. The field is plain, with no legend on the obverse. |

| Description du revers | An eagle with wings closed stands facing left atop a thunderbolt, rendered in the canonical Ptolemaic reverse type. A laurel branch appears above the eagle's shoulders. To the left of the eagle's right leg, the Isis solar headdress (sistrum symbol) appears, though often obscured by wear. To the left of the eagle, the regnal year expressed in Greek numerals (e.g., Lι for Year 10) is inscribed in the field, while to the right the Paphos mint monogram (ΠΑ) identifies the issuing workshop. A circular legend reading ΠTOΛEMAIOΥ BAΣΙΛEΩΣ runs along the outer border of the reverse. |
