Reverse description Draped bust of Serapis facing right, the deity wearing the distinctive kalathos (modius) atop his head, adorned with elaborate floral or vegetal decoration rendered in high relief. The beard and hair of Serapis are rendered in layered, wavy locks characteristic of his Hellenistic iconographic tradition. The regnal year notation flanks the bust in the field, with the date symbol L to the left and Є (year 5) to the right. The coin's broad flat field and the bold central device are typical of late Alexandrian tetradrachm production.
