Reverse description Arsaces I (the dynastic founder) seated in three-quarter view to the right on an omphalos throne, holding a bow in his left hand in the traditional Parthian manner. A standing figure, identified as Nike or a deity, faces the enthroned king and extends a wreath toward him. The extensive Greek legend encircles the design, filling the field on both sides and below, with the additional epithet ΦΙΛΟΠΑΤΟΡΟΣ appearing as part of the titulature. The composition follows the established Seleucid-derived iconographic programme standard on Parthian tetradrachms of this period.
