| Reverse description | The beardless figure of the Arsacid dynastic archer, clad in the traditional Parthian karbasi tunic and flowing cloak, is depicted enthroned in profile to the right upon an ornate throne. The archer holds a strung bow in the right hand, the weapon serving as the principal dynastic emblem of the Arsacid house. Above the bow appears the Greek monogram ΒΑ (abbreviation of ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ). The reverse field carries no border, and is surrounded by a seven-line Greek inscription naming the king with his full titulature. |
