| Beschrijving keerzijde | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned to the left upon a low stool-throne, his body draped from the waist, holding an eagle with spread wings on his outstretched right hand and a long sceptre in his raised left hand. To the upper left of the throne, a forepart of a winged boar facing left serves as the civic symbol of Klazomenai. The magistrate's name ΦΙΛΩΝ appears in the left field below the civic symbol, while the royal legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. The composition follows the standard posthumous Alexandrine reverse type with the addition of the distinctive Klazomenaean mint identifier. |
