Reverse description A Heraklean club is depicted horizontally at centre, enclosed within a circular oak wreath whose acorn-laden branches are finely rendered in high relief. The royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ above and ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ below flanks the club, reading 'of King Philip.' In the lower field, two control monograms are visible beneath the club, with a smaller secondary symbol in the left field. The oak wreath, a hallmark of Macedonian royal tetradrachms, frames the entire composition and is tied at the base.
