| 裏面の説明 | A club displayed horizontally to right occupies the central field, surrounded by a thick oak wreath tied at the left with a kerykeion (caduceus) placed to the left of the ties. Three monograms are arranged around the club, one above and two below, serving as mint or magistrate control marks. The reverse design follows the standard Macedonian royal tetradrachm convention, with the oak wreath referencing the sanctuary of Zeus at Dion and the Macedonian royal cult. The inscription ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ, identifying the king, runs within or along the wreath. |
