Reverse description A large eagle stands facing left with wings spread, its head turned back to the right, holding a wreath in its beak — a characteristic type of the Antiochene provincial coinage. The bird is rendered with fine feather detail across the wings and body. The mint name ΑΝΤΙΟΧΙΑ appears in the lower field between the eagle's legs, flanked by the civic control mark S C (Senatus Consulto or local civic authority abbreviation), while the encircling Greek legend records the emperor's tribunician power and consulship.
