Obverse description Bare laureate head of Apollo facing left, rendered in a provincial Celticized interpretation of the Macedonian prototype. The laurel wreath is rendered with elongated, stylized leaves fanning broadly across the crown of the head, while long flowing hair falls in schematic striated locks behind the neck. The facial features — including the eye, nose, and chin — are boldly modeled but simplified in accordance with local Celtic artistic tradition. The field is plain and unlettered, and the flan is irregular at the edges.
