Obverse description Diademed bust of Orodes II facing left, rendered in the Hellenistic style with elaborate curled hair cascading behind the ear and a short, neatly trimmed beard. A distinctive wart is visible on the forehead above the right brow. The king wears a torque necklace and a richly ornamented garment adorned with pellets and a stylized floral motif on the shoulder. The entire design is framed by a beaded border.

Reverse description The enthroned Orodes II is depicted seated right on a throne, extending his right hand to receive a palm branch from Tyche, the goddess of fortune, who stands before him facing left and holds a long sceptre in her left hand. The scene is rendered in the Hellenistic artistic tradition. Month abbreviation and mint monogram appear in the exergue, with specific combinations varying by emission. A Greek royal titulary legend surrounds the central design.
