| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of King Nicias facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic tradition typical of late Indo-Greek coinage. A circular Greek legend surrounds the royal effigy within the square flan. The relief is worn but retains traces of the king's facial features and royal attire. The inscription reads BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΣΩTHPOΣ NIKIOY, identifying him as 'Saviour King Nicias'. The hammered flan displays characteristic irregular edges consistent with the square copper issues of this ruler. |
