Obverse description Radiate bust of Emperor Nero facing left, adorned with an aegis across the chest, rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style with characteristic portraiture of the emperor in his later reign. The radiate crown, composed of multiple rays, frames the imperial effigy prominently. The Greek legend encircles the bust, reading NEPΩ KΛAY KAIΣ ΣEB ΓEP AY, with the regnal year LI∆ (year 14) completing the inscription. The overall engraving displays the distinctive qualities of the Alexandrian mint's hammered technique, with an irregular flan typical of provincial coinage of this period.
