| Beschrijving voorzijde | Diademed and draped bust of Mithridates VI Eupator facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic portrait tradition with idealizing features reminiscent of Alexander the Great. The king's long, wavy hair flows freely in thick locks behind his neck and over his shoulders, secured by a royal diadem. The facial features are youthful and idealized, with a strong profile, prominent brow, and finely modeled eye. A small star-and-crescent symbol appears within the flowing hair above the forehead, serving as a divine attribute associated with the Pontic royal house. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A stag grazing to the left occupies the central field, rendered in fine Hellenistic style. The Greek legend BAΣIΛEΩΣ appears above the stag, while MIΘPAΔATOY and EYΠATOPOΣ are arranged in two lines below, identifying the coin as an issue of King Mithridates Eupator. To the left of the stag, a star-in-crescent symbol surmounts a control monogram; to the right, the regnal year BKΣ (year 222 of the Pontic era, corresponding to 75 BC) appears above a second control monogram, with the month letter C (month 3) placed in the exergue. The entire design is enclosed within a Dionysiac wreath composed of ivy leaves and fruit, a characteristic feature of Mithridatic tetradrachms. |
