Reverse description A stag grazing to the left occupies the central field, rendered in naturalistic style. To the upper left, a star-in-crescent symbol appears above a monogram, serving as a mint control mark. To the upper right, the regnal year BKΣ (year 222 of the Pontic era, corresponding to 75 BC) is inscribed above a second monogram. The month letter Θ (theta, ninth month) appears in the exergue. The entire reverse design is enclosed within a Dionysiac wreath of ivy leaves and fruit, referencing the king's association with the god Dionysos. The Greek royal legend BAΣIΛEΩΣ MIΘPAΔATOY EYΠATOPОΣ runs within the wreath field.
