| Descrizione del dritto | Diademed and youthful portrait bust of Mithridates VI Eupator facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic heroic style evoking Alexander the Great. The king's thick, wavy hair flows back from the forehead and falls in locks behind the neck, framed by a plain royal diadem. The facial features are finely modeled in high relief, with a strong jawline and idealized, almost divine countenance characteristic of late Hellenistic royal portraiture. The field is plain, with no visible legend on the obverse. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | A stag grazing to the left occupies the central field, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with naturalistic detail. To the upper left, a star-in-crescent symbol appears above a royal monogram. To the right of the stag, the regnal year inscription ΕΚΣ (year 225 of the Pontic era, equating to 73 BC) is placed vertically in the field, with the letter Α (month one) in the exergue denoting the first month of issue. The entire reverse design is enclosed within a Dionysiac wreath of ivy leaves and fruit, a hallmark of Mithridatic coinage. The encircling legend reads ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΜΙΘΡΑΔΑΤΟΥ ΕΥΠΑΤΟΡΟΣ, identifying the issuer as King Mithridates Eupator. |
