| 裏面の説明 | A grazing stag standing to the left occupies the central field, with a star visible above its back; to the right of the stag appears the mint monogram AT (for Pergamon). The entire central design and the four-line Greek legend are enclosed within an elaborate wreath of ivy or vine, adorned with clusters of berries and leaves rendered in fine relief. The legend reads ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ above, ΜΙΘΡΑΔΑΤΟΥ and ΕΥΠΑΤΟΡΟΣ in two lines below the stag, and the regnal year monogram ΑΛΣ (year 232 of the Pontic era, corresponding to 66 BC) at the bottom within the wreath. |
