Reverse description An owl, the symbol of Athena, stands three-quarters right with head facing, perched atop a Panathenaic amphora. The magistrates' names appear in the fields flanking the central design, with the Dioskouroi emblem (stars) to the right serving as a secondary control symbol. The letter Θ appears on the amphora body, and the letters ME are inscribed below it. The entire composition is enclosed within an olive wreath, referencing the sacred olive of Athena and characteristic of the New Style tetradrachm series.
