Reverse description Athena Nikephoros seated left upon a throne, wearing helmet and aegis, her right hand extending forward to hold a winged Nike who crowns the royal legend. Her left arm rests upon a large round shield decorated with a lion's-head boss, and a long spear is placed transversely behind her. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ flanks the enthroned figure, and a monogram appears in the outer left field, with an additional monogram and an olive branch placed in the exergue.
