| Descrizione del dritto | Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, his flowing hair rendered in thick, sculptural locks with the characteristic anastole above the brow. A prominent ram's horn of Ammon curls behind the ear, signifying Alexander's divine association with Zeus-Ammon. The portrait is executed in the refined Hellenistic tradition, with idealized facial features and a dotted border encircling the flan. No legend appears on the obverse, the divine portrait itself serving as the principal emblem of legitimacy. |

The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ flanks the enthroned figure, and a monogram appears in the outer left field, with an additional monogram and an olive branch placed in the exergue. |
