| Obverse description | Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, portrayed with the ram's horn of Zeus-Ammon curling over his right ear, a divine attribute asserting his semi-divine status. The portrait is rendered in the refined Hellenistic style characteristic of posthumous Lysimachan coinage, with flowing hair beneath the diadem and idealized facial features. The field is generally plain, with no surrounding legend on the obverse. |
