| Obverse description | Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, depicted with the ram's horn of Ammon curling behind his ear, a hallmark of his divine association with Zeus-Ammon. The portrait displays the characteristic idealized Hellenistic style with flowing, tousled hair rendered in fine detail. A dotted border frames the coin's periphery. The effigy is executed in high relief, consistent with the finest die-cutting of the early Hellenistic period. |
