| Obverse description | Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, distinguished by the horn of Ammon curling above the ear, a divine attribute associating the king with Zeus-Ammon. The portrait is rendered in the Hellenistic style, with idealized features, flowing hair emerging from beneath the diadem, and a serene yet commanding expression. The diadem ends are visible at the nape of the neck, and the horn is finely integrated into the hairline above the temple. |

| Reverse description | Athena Nikephoros seated left on a throne, holding a small figure of Nike in her outstretched right hand and resting her left arm upon a large round shield decorated with a gorgoneion. A transverse spear leans diagonally behind her. To the left of the composition, the monogram AP appears in the field. The two-line legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ flanks the central figure, identifying the issuing authority as King Lysimachos. The exergue and field are otherwise plain. |
